Global Go Fest 2023 is on its way, and we've got a lot going on. So much, in fact, that it can be difficult to iron it all out and determine what's happening when. In order to help out, we've compiled all known bonuses for the event in one place. If you have any questions about what's coming, take a look below and you can easily find every known bit outlined.

Go Fest 2023 Guides

We're currently working on a few guides for Go Fest 2023. Check back here to find all of them in one convenient location.

  • A Limited Number of Snapshot Photobombs

Go Fest Biomes

As usual, Go Fest 2023 will be broken up into hourly "biomes" that determine what will spawn. There are four total biomes for this event, and they will rotate when completed. For information on each of the biomes, click on the headings below. Note that the biomes will be identical for both days.

Pokemon Go Fest Raids

Throughout the event, several note-worthy Pokemon will be available via Raids as well, with some rotation depending on the day/hour.

Exclusive Moves

In conjunction with the spawns highlighted above, specific Pokemon will be able to learn Elite Moves via this event.

Global Go Fest 2023 - Ticket Holder Bonuses

In conjunction with the universal bonuses outlined above, players will also be able to purchase  a ticket to unlock additional bonuses that can be taken advantage of. The ticket is available in the shops for $14.99 USD or equivalent local currency.

Ticket-Exclusive Bonuses

In conjunction with the bonuses highlighted near the top of this page, ticket holders will also be able to enjoy the following bonuses during event hours:

  • Increased Shiny Pokemon encounter rate
    • It is not officially confirmed whether this will also effect Research/Raid encounter, or just Wild encounters.
  • Up to 6 Special Trades per day
  • Habitat-themed Collection Challenges
  • 9 free Raid Passes from Gyms
  • Special 7km Eggs

Additionally, ticket holders will also be able to complete special challenges each hour in order to unlock special bonuses for all ticketholders also enjoying the event.

Ticket-Exclusive Special Research

Definitely the highlight of the bonuses offered for Ticket Holders, players will be able to take part in a special Research Line in order to obtain the Mythical Pokemon Diancie, as well as its Mega Evolution.

Ticketholders will also be able to obtain a Shirt avatar item inspired by Diancie as part of the Special Research line.

Biome-Based Incense Encounters

In conjunction with the normal Biome Spawns, ticket holders will also be able to obtain unique spawns from Incense including Unown variants that spell out the word "Diamond".

While not yet officially confirmed, some players have reported that Carbink has been spawning from Incense and Lures during in-person Go Fest events. We don't yet know if this will also be the case for the Global event.

Ultra Unlock

As is tradition at this point, Go Fest 2023 will also feature an Ultra Unlock. The Ultra Unlock will provide various bonuses for all players if ticket holders manage to complete 20 of the Global Challenges during the event (and let's be honest; it's going to happen). Thus far, this is what we know about the Ultra Unlock:
