Gen3 walking buddies?
Which of the new gen3 are actually worth walking? As compared to Tyranitar/Dragonite/etc.
Slaking chain certainly, however are there any others?

Honestly, I don't see a point in buddying the starters. They will obtainable in events and will probably be in an upcoming raid rotation. I would do one the rarer Pokemon or ones that will always be useful. I am walking my Lapras, because I have a perfect one and not enough candies with the new level boost.
I have 3 extra Raikous at 1900--all 15a/13d/14s. Powered two 96% up already, plus powered a 96% Zapdos. I'd easily trade one of those 1900 for any 96%+ Lapras...have one 15 attack Articuno, but none else I would do anything with---it has been clear/sunny 100% of the time. Never gonna catch a sky high level ice attacker, also seeming like only bonus will be grass/fire/ground
I have a slakoth as my buddy right now (I know...) just because I already caught a level 35, 96 IV one and just want to get over it but as soon as I'm finished I will probably go with Ralts hoping to get a good IV one. Already have a perfect legacy Blaziken and the other two starters haven't been that uncommon for me; I'm close to getting enough candy for a Sceptile.
So... Ralts, go Ralts.
Machamp is still my ride or die.
Mudkip is the rarest one for me - which is disappointing because you may have heard I liek dem. Living on the coast I was used to being flooded with water types. Since weather they have been scaled back tremendously. (I am ecstatic to report that despite this my shiny karp train just keeps on trucking). Dont know if Swampert will be particularly useful. No one has one yet. If you want a safe choice go got Torchic or Ralts
Ralts or starters, cuz these are the rarest that require 125 candy. But honestly none of the new Gen are all that useful (give Gardevoir a fairy quick move and that may change), so I personally stick with my Ttar, to be changed to a Dnite when I'm satisfied with my larvitar candy. Really just stock up on your pinaps.
