Poll: Will players be able to get more than 1 Mewtwo?
An earlier post made me realize how many players believe we will be limited to 1 Mewtwo per account.
I'll leave out some of my thoughts for now, but I will say this would be an exception from how they've handled the releases of every other species in the game thus far-- including Legendaries. Not to mention, limiting players to 1 per account would cost Niantic tons of loss in profit.
Nonetheless, what do you say?
-Thumbs Up for no limit of Mewtwos per account.
-Thumbs Down for limit of 1 Mewtwo per account.
Comment if you like as well.

But for real, I would be so grateful for just one since the planets nearly have to align to get one, with nearby gym raids and all, invites, group sizes, battle mons of you and your groups, and then thats just to get a chance to catch one. I travel every few months, and this summer to 4 locations, so I probably will be out of town when I get an invite from wherever I raided. In fact I know that will happen.

What would they possibly hope to accomplish by limiting each user to only one besides actively going out of their way to make even more players angry at them? It makes no sense.
The only way I could see them limiting it is to provide only one invitation per qualifying player. So once you get your invite, that's the only one you'll ever get. But what if:
- You're out of town or are otherwise unavailable at the time of your raid.
- You fail to catch it.
- You catch it, but its stats are 10/10/10.
So nope. Don't see them being THAT stupid.
I was hoping from the beginning that all legendaries would be one per account. That would make them rare. It's hard to believe that the best and most sought after pokemon are easier to get than a golem. If you were to catch a second legendary you would have the choice of keeping the new one and transferring the old. This way you can still try to get the highest iv legendary. How can someone have 40 zapdos. Isn't real and doesn't make sense. Just a money grab
I think we can all bet our trainer accounts that they will NOT limit it to just one Mewtwo...
This would screw over all the people at Yokohama and what if you powered up a lower IV, crap one and now, get a perfect one?
I say it is simply IMPOSSIBLE for them to limit it to one and again, remember, the overriding theme of the game is that it's a CASUAL MOBILE GAME...
It's not competitive and wasn't designed to be skill based, balanced or competitive and has no real rewards (can make 25k last weekend at Pokemon TGC at worlds)...
Let people get 20, 50, 1000 if they want...Niantic isn't in it to turn this into a totally diff game...
Plus, stronger accounts don't hurt weak ones in this case, they are just better equipped to get lesser trainers raid bosses. This is more amplified in more rural regions. So functionally it hurts Niantics apparent goal to limit raid bosses as well as it costs them money. The only thing a limit would help is folks that get butt hurt on the internet that read about others and their strong crew. Practically you now want everyone around you to have a killer set
Many replying are missing the point. If Niantic allows numerous (unlimited?) MewTwos then it will disrupt the system for both raids and gym battles. If raiders can go into raids with six high powered MTs then they will be able to solo all the 3 stars and maybe even easy four stars. Gym battles will be equally crazy.
Just saying, I am not sure how they will address this. Maybe you can hold one MT and when you beat another raid you can decide to keep the new one
