[Idea] Eeveelution stat balance
Just an idea. Since Niantic already broke the base stat formula with Mewtwo, they should do this too. Vaporeon is too overpowered.
All Eeveelutions have a BST of 600.
Vaporeon: ATT 200, DEF 170, STA 230
Jolteon: ATT 245, DEF 220, STA 135
Flareon: ATT 256, DEF 204, STA 140
Espeon: ATT 266, DEF 194, STA 140
Umbreon: ATT 190, DEF 230, STA 180
This way, Jolteon, Flareon and Espeon will also be better than a legendary, just like Vaporeon.

Hey, I see your point that Vaporeon is stronger than the other eeveelotiuns, esp compared to the legendaries. So you mentioned that it is too overpowered.
Now my suggestion would be that vaporeon should get a little nerf because in your suggestion legendaries become useless as even a Jolteon or a Flareon are stronger than a legendary + they are much easier to get.
So legendaries won't be legendary anymore at all.

Why eeveelutions need to be better than legendaries? In that case no one would bother to spend money in raiding legendaries. And secondly, the lifetime performance of a pokemon is a product of its stats, not a sum... For example pokemon with 200&200&200 would be much better than one with 100&100&400 (when looking at its lifetime performance)
The issue is how the stats are calculated, as all eevolutions have 525 Base stats total in the main game series, however ATK and SPA are merged using a formula (highest * 7/8 + lowest*1/8), Speed is compounded into ATK (if >70 it increases a little, if <70 decreases a little), and HP is just doubled.
So what's the problem here? There are 3 main problems here:
- ATK: This formula penalizes mixed attackers too much.
- DEF: Def should be averaged, as it otherwise removes the weakness specialists used to have (ex. Blissey would get recked by phisical attackers, as it only has 10 Def), this stat should be averaged.
- HP should not be doubled, as it benefits pokemon with high HP much more than pokemon that have high Def, SPDef, Speed, Atk or SPAtk.
