All Pokédex entries. Still... On the bright side, I got this magnificent beast.

A Venusaur just yesterday. Probably my only chance to ever catch a wild Venusaur. Fortunately, the really important Pokemon like Dragonite, Snorlax and Lapras never fled from me so far.

I have never seen a wild Dragonite though I caught all Snorlax and Lapras that I have encountered so far. 11 and 4 respectively.

I was lucky enough to find 3 wild Dragonites. I spend 70 Ultra Balls on the second, but I finally caught it.

Besides, a Togetic also ran from me. I could live with that, because I already caught one before.

Are Dragonites really that hard to catch? I wouldn't mind spending 70 ultra balls but still... 70? Damn. Way back August when Pokémon Go was still making a fuss... I have seen YouTube videos on catching a Dragonite. It was so far so trainers use the L throw. The hardest thing I ever tried to catch is a freaking Rapidash. Spend around 40 ultra balls because I just couldn't reach it.

This one was particularly stubborn. I needed less than 10 Ultra balls for the other two, respectively, although the third one was CP 2812 (but only 36% IV).

Dear god. Those IVs must've been good too. Sorry man, I'm sure it's moveset was awful though :)

My second wild encountered Dragonite!
It was the week before Christmas, some degree above freezing. It had rained the whole day, I had walked around for more than eight hours.

I was cold, wet, hungry, tired and had problems operating the mobile with my stiff fingers. Just about to give up for the day.

Then it suddenly spawn just in front of me, 2300CP. The adrenaline started to pump. All my tireness went away. I got under a small roof. Carefully wiped the screen dry. Razzberry, Ultraball, tried to do my best curveball with frozen fingers. I caught it directly (Yes!), but right afterwards it broke out and vanished in smoke. I was left in the cold rain, silently watching the screen in disbelief.

The only wild Lapras I have seen fled...during the 'Water' event.

My first wild Snorlax fled...in the second week of my account.

My second wild encounter of Dragonite fled - my first encounter happened when I was completely out of pokeballs. Needless to say, I have never let myself run out of pokeballs entirely again.

Reminds me of this player I knew way back Pokémon Go's glorious days. He showed me a screenshot of Lapras. Unfortunately he doesn't have any Pokéballs so the only memory of that Lapras is a couple of screenshots.

Wild Machamp, 100+CP, Ultra ball, Curve Throw, Excellent Throw..... ran away. LOL.

Too many other bad ones to remember, I'm pretty sure a good Aerodactyl had jumped away from me but Machamp sticks out for being a different sort of experience!

I also had a Charizard 1800 and Dragonite 1200 run away from me. They would have been new Pokedex entries but ya know. Also this Gyarados would have been nice but I have two others. I ran out of my house for this and ran after 2 ultra balls =/

98% Dragonite with 2872 CP and Dragon Tail & Outrage moveset.

Curved Great Ball, Great Throw, Razz Berry and it fled after first throw. I'm stilled pissed off about it more than a month later.

How would you know all those details about something you didn't catch?

The only wild Gyarados I've ever seen. In my house. :(

2 Togetics fled; 1 at a PokéStop, but couldn't reach it because of the weird GPS drifts. 2–3 more seen at other pokéstops, away from my house.

1 Piloswine fled!

The very first wild Charmeleon I encountered last summer ran away.

My worst is not a fled. My worst is wild Rhydon that when I hit him to catch my game said error and he was just gone. Worst fled was high CP Vape during the water event.

Same here. I have never seen a Hitmon family mon spawn here or any other fighting type like Machop. A full blown Machamp was near me one day though and I hit it....only to get the error. Somehow that hurt more than the fled max Snorlax or others.
