- Players who have an existing Ribbon Cubchoo will be able to evolve it to obtain a Beartic with a Holiday Ribbon
- Players will be able to hold 40 gifts
- Players will be able to participate in the "Will Your Wish Come True" Timed Research line to unlock various bonuses
- A special selection of Pokemon will be available in the wild
- A special selection of Pokemon will be hatching from 7km Eggs
- A special selection of Pokemon will be available in Raids
- Among them, Kyurem will be given access to its Signature Attack, Glaciate
- A special selection of Pokemon will be available via Field Research
- Players will also be able to complete Field Research to earn Mega Abomasnow energy

- The minimal number of guaranteed Lucky Trades will be raised from 10 to 15 permanently. This applies to Pokemon caught in 2017 or before.
- Daily Adventure Incense will last for 30 minutes
- A special Collection Challenge will be available
- On December 24, players will be able to enjoy Hisuian Avalugg Raid Day, which will give players a chance to catch Hisuian Avalugg.
