Why I'm Upset (Update = Niantic Greed)
This is long, so skip to (***) for why I'm upset, #6 is my favorite ?
I can understand the frustration from the higher level-older members of PoGO. The new update has destroyed everything you have accomplished in the past year (or less). The building up of +10 defensive mons, and prestige teams, for your 100coins/5000dust a day. That is (was) hard work, and a lot of grinding, to be swept away. Only to please the lower level trainers, who couldn't get their spot in a gym, but also didnt want to grind as hard, or spend the TIME it took you to get there. And yes, I got my first Muk a month ago, grinding, and getting lucky enough to have enough candy to evolve my grimer I hatched last Halloween. But now, you can "pay" for an already evolved Muk, with high IVs... oh for the love of the "participation trophy." I know, it's Muk, but also, a paid pokedex entry.
And that brings me to "Why I'm Upset."
***This whole update is an obvious, in your face, "F-you fans, we want your money."
Things noticed while playing:
1) you have to scroll through all x3 Incubators before getting to your infinite incubator. They want you to use the bought ones first, and or hope you slip up. (Pre/post update)
2) 50 coins max (obviously <100)
3) raids = 100coins a pop (after free one) thats two days of collecting the max amount, but theres a badge for raids... in order to get gold (1000 raids) with free play, that's 2000 days (5.5 years!) of max coin collection ?
4) more items = the need of more storage. Which also means a possible increase in max storage, which also means more coins from everyone, not just those who have not maxed our yet.
5) Niantic new that only a certain population was paying to play, the lower leveled trainers who couldn't get into/stay in gyms. The higher level trainers who could stay in 10 (+1,-1) gyms, didn't need to pay, and earned that right, from either already paying or grinding harder than the average. With this gym update, it "forces" evem higher level trainers to pay. With 50 coins a day, having to get your mons back each day, or maybe go a day with no coins... whatever.
6) the real reason I'm pissed... the dust. An "easy" 4-5k a day. Now, i see people posting about feeding berries gets dust ? "awesome guy!" But did you know that in the 5 hours it takes you to get 5k from feeding the pokemon, that want to go home with coins, you could park at walmart for less than a hour and catch 50 pokemon ?

??? not the question... i think I've only spent $20 each event, for discounted items, or incubators for x2 dust or xp... you sir, should be outraged, dragonite style... but I'm sure you're just steel winged like the rest of us.

-93% level 20, 13a15d14s (raid)
-87% level 30, 14a11d14s (caught)
-42% level 23, 7a1d11s (SHINY)
Note: you only have one level Gyarados, level 30 80%11a15d10s. I know it doesn't matter, and gary has been "nerfed" as a defender. But with the new lack of dust, I'm leaning towards the level 30, over the shiny... i don't know anymore
Don't act like you know what your talking about .... business's don't screw top players / partners / money generators to please mid to low level freebies
I know business Very well and Niantic had done a superb job of capitalizing on profits with keeping the ball rolling .... this is there first misstep and it's a big one ... if your not paying attention ... this is the start of the downfall because Niantic is trying to change things and make low level casual players happy ... Problem is once you make everything easy as it seems to be now ... then you take away drive . And without drive you lose interest at an alarming rate which will happen .

Anyone want to defend Niantic with business side of things & I will school you any day!
If you have stocks in Niantic .... keep for a short while then sell because we've reached the top of the mountain ... only down hill from here.
Im so tired of the i want my free stuff back posts we get it you play all day have no lives you were getting 100 coins a day running incubators all the time and to hell to lower players they should play pogo 18 hours a day to be like you. Get over it adapt or else get out of here niantic is running a company, salaries are paid with real money you know not stardust and pokecoins.
This bitch right here. How about this for a complaint, instead of fixing the bugs/glitches in your game, you add an update has more bugs in it than the old one, with the intent to just make more profit, that screws the older players, and levels the playing field for the lower levels, but we did enjoy it while it lasted, the lower levels will reach the higher levels, and still never know what it was like.... shame. a) I don't play all day b) what are you doing here?
