This just my own personal experience, others probably have different opinions!
1) I have an ambition to handle my PG-friends (70+) in some sort of fair manner.
2) I want to hatch some good new Alohan types.
Chaos came crashing down....
Friend requests poured in from our discord group. The list soon got awfully long and laggy. I have more gifts waiting than I can open in one days (20 gifts/day limit). I can only have 5 gifts in item box before needing to distribute them, that is just a few couple of 100 m in a city. Then stop (in the rain), trying to figure out whose turn it is to give a gift.
While collecting gifts it is essential to also keep a close look at the incubators (running 9 at the moment) If eggs are close to hatch, stop spinning stops to avoid filling slots with standard eggs.
Each stop spinning is now a great decision what to prioritize. Not spinning (Aloha egg space), spinning (getting balls, gifts and research).
I have not even tried trading yet.
I miss the simple life two years ago. When I walked, caught pokemon, span Stops and had an occasional gym fight. (The simplicity was one of the things I liked in the game, just a rather mindless thing to do while walking)
I guess things will be easier after the Alohan rush and when Niantic make some fixes in the friend handling.
