Machamp moves prefection
I've had this question why is counter/Close combat rated B, the non fighting type Bullet Punch/DP, B too?
Just can't stand it.

It's likely that due to the matchup data after testing all the possible move combinations, that C/CC and BP/DP perform at a similar fraction of performance as the Counter/DP.
However I do agree. I can't forsee how a steel move that does less damage, loses stab and super effective damage will perform at a similar level as two fighting moves. Probably a B+ and B-, and C/CC is indeed listed above BP/DP anyway.
GP Rates movesets by their cycle DPS, and even witout STAB BP/DP's DPS is not that far from C/CC's, the one thing that ranking fails to take into account is type advantage, and while fight and steel have 2 overlaping type advantages (rock and ice), steel doesn't hit SE vs dark and normal pokemon, which is the most prominent use of a machamp (Blissey, Snorlax and Tyranitar), so even if both movesets are about equal in raw DPS, C/CC should have the edge in the matchups where you actually want to use a machamp.
Yeah, I just evolved a Machamp with C/CC at 91IV, Lvl20 (1630cp). I am trying to decide whether to (1) power it up with the 156 candy I have, or (2) leave it as a high-ish CP prestiger and "roll the RNG dice" to evolve a Lvl 29 wild Machop with 51IV in the hopes of getting C/DP. Thoughts from folks who've used both movesets?
