Determining the age of eggs
Does anyone have any tips to determine the "age" of eggs? I believe I read on Gamepress that the contents of each egg is determined at the Pokestop, when you acquire the egg.
However, my experience is that it is hard to know which eggs are oldest.
When you start incubating an egg, it sometimes "moves" to a different slot out of your 9 slots When you change your Pokemon list to "Most Recent" it doesn't seem to change the order of the eggs, though most of my eggs are 5kmIs the only way to ensure you have no "old" eggs to use 9 incubators at once? Normally, that would be a ridiculous idea for me, since I don't like to spend cash money on the game. However, with all the free incubators, it actually seems doable for once.

The easiest way to clear out old eggs for sure is if you have only 5km eggs, once you get a 2 or 10km one, keep incubating the 5km ones since you KNOW the 2 and 10km is NEW.
Keep repeating and you will eventually get rid of all the old 5km eggs.
If you walk a lot, this is easy to do assuming you pick up the occasional 2km egg (10s are sorta hard to get to begin with).
Assuming you are now at least level 20, then use up your free incubators and hatch them all at 1 time, preferably under a lucky egg when you are also doing a mass-evolve. The eggs always move around in my experience so there is no way to tell (well except for your 2K/10K egg if you have exactly 1...)
There isn't an order. The eggs are randomly placed in the bag. How do I know this? I always hold on to my 10K eggs until I have 9 of them to hatch them all at once with a lucky egg. During this time after I hatch a 5K or 2K egg and pick up a new egg, all the eggs shuffle. The funniest is when I have 8 10K eggs and every time I pick up a new egg I have to hunt for it in the 3 by 3 grid because it did not generate in the top left corner. When I pick up 2 more eggs I'll post another screen shot
