The Season of Go is getting ready to come to a close, and near its end is one of the most important events in all of the Pokemon fandom; the annual Pokemon World Championships. Pokemon Go is going to be included in the tournaments this year, so we have a lot to look forward to, and those of us not attending can still celebrate with our own event!

World Championship Exclusive Avatar Items
Two exclusive avatar shirt items will be available from different sources during this event.
- The 2020 Worlds Tee will be available via a code distributed during the World Championships Steam, and will later be given away via Social media.
- The 2020 Worlds Participant Tee will be available from the Pokemon Go Booth Pokestop at the World Championships themselves, meaning you're going to need to go and enjoy the festivities in person in order to pick it up.
World Championship Event Bonuses
- Pikachu in a new World Championships outfit will be available
- NPC Trainers with teams similar to Go Regional Champions will appear at Pokestops
- 3x Go Battle League Stardust
- The daily limit on Go Battle League Sets will be raised to 10
- A Timed Research line will be available that rewards an Elite Fast TM, an Elite Charged TM, and an encounter with World Championships Pikachu
- A select set of Pokemon will be spawning in the wild:

- A number of Pokemon will have access to their Community Day moves during the event:
- Rhydon evolved into Rhyperior will know Rock Wrecker

- Flechinder evolved into Talonflame will know Incinerate
- A number of new Avatar Items inspired by the Galar region will be available
