Blanche had her time in the spotlight, now it's time for Spark to take center-stage.
The Instinctive Hero event celebrates Team Instinct, and includes a few fun bonuses and a few Pokemon that are definitely worth picking up during the event. One Pokemon in particular is long overdue, so it's great to finally see the rise of the Solar Moth at long last!

- At long last, Larvesta and Volcarona will make their debut in Pokemon Go!
- Larvesta and Volcarona will be available from 2km, 5km, and 10km eggs acquired during the event.
- A Special Research line will be available, rewarding players with an Elekid wearing a "Spark-themed accessory". No word currently as to if this Elekid will be able to evolve with said accessory.
- Field Research will grant a special selection of Pokemon during the event
- A special selection of Pokemon will be available from 7km Eggs obtained during the event

Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, Larvesta will be available to hatch from Eggs! You’ll also be able to hatch Shiny Mantyke—if you’re lucky!.

Larvesta and Volcarona debut
Larvesta, the Torch Pokémon, and Volcarona, the Sun Pokémon, will make their Pokémon GO debuts! Starting with this event, Larvesta will be available to hatch from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km Eggs.

You can use 400 Larvesta Candy to evolve Larvesta into Volcarona.
Event Bonuses
Increased chance of hatching Shiny Pokémon from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km Eggs.
2× XP for hatching Pokémon.

Special Research story—An Instinctive Hero
Special Research featuring the leader of Team Instinct, Spark, will be available! Trainers who complete the research will be rewarded with an encounter with Elekid wearing a Spark-themed accessory! This is the only way to encounter Elekid wearing a Spark-themed accessory during this Season.
