Team GO Rocket takeover
It's been a while, but Team Go Rocket is back. In conjunction with the Crackling Voltage event, players will be able to challenge Giovanni and his subordinates to capture a plethora of Shadow Pokemon.

- Giovanni will be back, this time sporting Shadow Registeel
- Players will be able to use Charged TMs to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokemon
- The Rocket Leaders will sport new Pokemon, and Shadow Alolan Vulpix, Shadow Spoink, Shadow Blitzle, and Shadow Joltik will make their debut
- Players will be able to complete Field Research to gather Mysterious Components
