Which Electabuzz would you evolve and invest in?

I have a lucky 14/14/15 Lvl 22 and a normal 15/13/14 lvl 28 one. I want to bring him up to level 35 or so (maybe more if I need to). I know the lucky will be cheaper dust wise but I don't have a ton of candies. Which one would you power up (considering I already have a 15/13/13 lvl30 Electivire).

I'd say the level 28. The IV's arent over all much different to the point where the 14 attack will survive to get more moves out, also the level 28 saves a bit of candies.

Though as raids go, for legendaries, theres not many electric is best for, the onlys ones being kyogre, suicune so far. I'd recommend holding off as electric doesnt cover many raids in 1-4, aside from currently azumaril and togetic if it comes back.

EDIT: removal of breakpoint information due to not remembering which match up it was for.

That's what I was looking for, I looked through the breakpoint tools on this site but couldn't find any breakpoint near level 40. I guess I'll go with him just in case plus he's already level 28. If I ever need another one I'll have my lucky as a backup I guess.

Yeah I know he isn't relevant right now, I don't want to power him up right away, that's for sure. I know that Kyogre will come back for Origin Pulse at some point ans Suicune too for his shiny form. Ho-oh and Lugia may have their exclusive move at some point so it'll be good for that. There's also Tornadus and Tapu Fini but that's a loooong way to go. Anyway, not needed right now but there's still some use in the future.
Thanks for the info.

I wouldn't worry about Lugia or ho-oh, those are coutner better by other pokemon, namely Tyranitar and rampardos

Tornadus as well shares similar best counters to lugia and ho-oh.

Fini, I have a feeling grass/poison types will be better, resist both types and hit for SE stab, the effectiveness change helped grass types stand out agaisnt water types a lot more now that they last longer.

Electivire will be great, dont get me wrong, but we also dont know what other counters may come out between now and those releases, I agree ith suicune, it likely will be fantastic against it due to suicune's low offense and its also a bit overdue for a shiny release.

Another brain dead post that actually makes me think you never played Pokémon Go

Lemywinks got a shipment of panties that are a bit too tight; he's been sniping at everyone lately. Hopefully it will pass.

Your post isn't braindead. Lemywinks is just "that guy" on this forum who doesn't understand the concept of a Q&A and feels the need to make rude commentary in response to just about everything that anyone asks.

What breakpoint? Breakpoints are different against every defender. If you are talking about some specific raid boss, you should say which one, and at what level the breakpoint is reached. However, since you are not sure whether it is wild charge or thunder shock, I'm guessing you don't have a very good grasp of breakpoints.

I'm not trying to be harsh, but it's okay not to answer a question if you don't really know the answer. You obviously have some knowledge of the game, so stick to answering questions where you actually have some useful insight.

It may have been a specific raid boss, I cant remember exactly which it was. My mistake, I should clear that up, thank you for being respectful in the response.

If you already have an Electivire at lvl 30, I wouldn't rush into investing in a second one, unless there's something you need it for now (Azumarrill raids?). Electric-types won't have a ton of use for gen 4 legendary raids, Electivire is just so-so in PvP, and there are better options for a generalist gym attacker or defender.

Yeah I really don't need them right now I already have plenty of grass and rock attacker but I want at least 3 good electric mon. So far I have Electivire and Raikou but I wanted 1 more Electivire. I just don't know which one I should evolve. I guess level 28 makes more sense since it's already 'high level' and higher attack IV. I'll wait until the end of the Lunar event to see if I can catch a good one in the rain probably.

Use the ongoing Lunar New Year event to stock up on Electabuzz candies.

Well, yeah for sure, I pinap them all but I don't want to evolve 2 of them and I want to make sure I do the right decision.

Personally, I'd evolve and power up the lucky one. It will take 40 candies to power up from L22 to L28, so if you are farming candies during the current event, that's not a huge extra cost. Meanwhile, the long-term stardust savings will be huge, especially as you approach L35 and beyond.
