10 km eggs

Luckily, your past "luck" has nothing to do with your future "luck" :) 0 10km's since 16.8 does sound like a world record though. How many eggs have you hatched in total?

As far as I know, the babies are not in the eggs anymore. We are now back to hatching Jynx again...

The huge numbers of 10km eggs people found during the event is simply due to the large number of 10km-babies, which were added into the pool. Instead of making every other 10km-hatch nearly unavailable, Niantic massively increased the percentage of 10km eggs.

I'd swap one of your Magbys for either of my last 10k hatches (Onix & Pinsir), it's the only baby I'm missing.

I don't mind the babies, they're no worse than the three Krabby's and Meowth I hatched today. Alll up your dust count.

The same thing happened to me, I didn't got a single 10 egg in months, then I got 5 in a roll, 1 magby and 4 smoochum, all the for smoochum at the same time at the night of dec 31, but then I got more 2 and I got a chansey and a dratini, there is another one that still not hatched, if it is a baby I will kill myself.

I think a lot of us have seen a 10km egg drop increase during these event, probably because of the babies, I have hatched 6 10ks during the event, of course all of them babies except a stupid pinsir, I have been "lucky" enough to get the 3 of them and complete again my regional EU dex.

But I feel your pain, 10ks are normally so rare that they should "guarantee" a top tier mon like Snorlax or Lapras, even with that you can still get bad IV's/moveset so why don't actually give us a little love? It is nice the feeling when the 10k drops from the stop, but it hurts when you actually hatch it and see a baby/pinsir or any other crap like eevee (until they remove them from 10ks I mean).

I think Niantic has to do something about it soon, probably the most easy solution would be adding a 20km egg that grants a top tier mon with similar drop rate than the actual 10k and increase the rate of 10ks. When gen2 finally comes out it will be almost imposible (if it is not difficult enough) to get that Lapras or Snorlax that a lot of people need.

Last night I hatched nine 10k eggs. This was my result. Yes the babies are useless after the first hatch for the pokedex entry but I'm just happy it wasn't a damn Onix as last time I hatched nine 10K eggs 3 were Onix, and 3 were Pinsers.

I hate Magby

Yea same ish for me. I hatched 2 magby, 2 smoochum, elekid, 2 pichu, and igglybuff, haven't gotten a 10k egg in over 2 months. I want them but....I would grind these babies into candy if they weren't rare right now. It's like making candy from a baby.

No big deal. I've hatched 7 10K eggs out of 600+ hatches. They are:
2 Magmar
2 Onix
1 eevee
2 Pinsir

I hatch eggs only for dusts. (not even for candies since all I hatched are useless).

Sorry dude, that sucks. But, at the same time, instead of babies, you could have gotten Onix, Pinsir, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Scyther, Kabuto, Omanyte, or Aerodactyl. All of these are pretty much useless, just like babies, once you have the entry in your pokedex and have enough candy for the evolutions.

We all want Snorlax, Lapras, Dratini or Chansey, but those are all really rare to come by (more so for some than others, apparently). I've hatched over 1500 eggs, many of them 10k, and have hatched just 1 Snorlax.

I am exiting this baby event with :

* 5 Magby
* 3 Smoochum
* 2 Togepi
* 6 Pichu
* 2 Cleffable
* 4 Igglybuff

A whole lot of wasted 10k eggs but that's just playing the odds and I'm happy I got all the babies...

Hopefully your luck turns on getting more 10k eggs. Unfortunately, egg hatching is a numbers' game with crappy odds (same goes for 5k and 2k, I'm really sick of hatching Spearows and Nidorans for the REALLY occasional / accidental Togepi or Charmander).
