Gallade or Gardevior?

Is Gallade just a dex entry?

I have a level 33 100% male lucky, I might never evolve it (well, til hypothetical CD). Already have a 100% maxed female Gardevoir.

Both aren't good at their current state. Gardevoir is useful against Palkia currently but even then it's far behind the best counters.

I'd wait for Ralt's CD honestly. I love Gallade, but my boy isn't too good at the moment.

If Machamp raids are restored to their former difficulty, Gardevoir will remain among the key counters (especially to DP). She is also good (even if not optimal) at defending gyms and taking down dragons in gyms.

Aren't other psychics like Espeon still better in that situation (cheaper and more available too)? We even got Sky Attack Honchkrow. I definitely agree that Gardevoir is more useful than Gallade, but even then, I'll continue to hoard my ralts and their candies.

Alakazam and Espeon are not bulky enough against Dynamic Punch, which is strong, two-bar, hard to dodge and often weather-boosted.

Tell me why it is not when its dps is on the level of primeape and exeggutor?

Both are entries, at the moment. Gardevoir's an ok-ish counter to palkia, and a good counter to machamp, but even then theres better counters for both.

Machamp is the superior fighting type, and for both psychic is an ok typing on offense, and there much cheaper and better options like espeon.

I'm waiting with my 96 lucky ralts for a CD

No it is not the problem of Machamp. It is the fact that its fast move is LOW KICK, one of the worst fast moves in the game combined with a completely atrocious one bar charged move. It is completely irrevalant and no different from a glorified primeape or hitmonlee.

Not sure why nobody has mentioned this:
Confusion is currently as good as dragon breath in PvP. Gallade has access to leaf blade. That alone puts it on giratina levels of powerful in the Great/Ultra leagues. Granted that Close Combat isn't an amazing move, but it's not horrid and provides good coverage options.
It has few resistances, but it has similarly few weaknesses and that move combo will allow it to win pretty much any and every neutral game it gets thrown into.

Gallade isn't useful for much else, but it's about as much of a dex-entry of Giratina(A)
