Alolan Ninetails in pvp Ultra League?

Quite some time ago I got a lucky 100% Alolan Ninetails in a trade, because it was lucky and such an awesome looking Pokemon, I maxed it for the lols.

Sadly it's now too high cp for Great League, but does it have any use in Ultra, or is its cp cap too low to shine?

It is a good counter against Giratina with PS/IB and double resisting DB and DC. You only have to watch out for double charge move Giratina’s with AP

Alolan Ninetail is an excellent counter to Giratina, the king of Ultra League. Best advice is to power up your Alolan Ninetails right before the 2500CP cap.

Is the typing issue (PvP recognizes Kantonian typing instead of Alolan in spite of being actually Alolan) resolved? That's one of the reasons I was holding on to using mine.

If you calculate its actual stats, you would get the following:
Attack 146.20
Defense 164.38
Stamina 151.73
Total stats: 462.32 (rounded down and displaying 2 decimals)

My pokemon that I use for great league are hovering around 500 for combined stats (including giratina at 503 and Cressalia at 528).
I haven't done any research on what other ice types might be good for great league.
Looking at the above stats for a maxed Alolan Ninetales, its Ice and Fairy typing with fairly strong moves might work out OK. Just make sure to cover its glaring weakness to Steel with your other Pokemon- Especially since Steelix is one of the best Giratina counters out there (same with Melmetal for that matter). The weakness to fire doesn't help either.

That being said, congrats on the perfect and it probably is usable (albeit a bit fragile in the wrong match-up).
