Should Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan be moved to 5km eggs?
They have NO use in the gym so I don't know why we must walk 10km to hatch one.
Leave the 10km eggs for the big hitters.

There are quite a lot of hatchable pkm, that are not usefull at all. All available Pkm (except regionals) are hatchable, and they should remain hatchable imo.
I think, if 10-km-egg would be reserved for snorlax, lapras and dratini only, there would be to many of these pokemon. They are rare, and they should remain rare in my oppinion.
Of course, it is quite disappointing to hatch an egg with a useless pkm, if one hopes for a hard hitter. I just lower my expectations, and so i am not really disappointed. Just expect some stardust and a pokemon ready for instant-transfer, and you can only be surprised in a positive way.
Just another goldeen, hitmonlee, venomoth? Ok, job done, next egg please.
The egg distances in Pokemon Go are based on the distances in the main games that you need to walk to hatch eggs.
And I think you have the way that eggs are distributed backwards. If only Dratini, Snorlax, and Lapras were in 10km eggs, then you would get a lot fewer 10km eggs and a lot more 5km eggs. Just look at how many fewer 2km eggs we get after Pidgey and Rattata were removed from the egg pool.
If 10 km eggs would be for the big hitters, Eevee should go there again, too. After all, Vaporeon is the most important big hitter of the whole game. Also up for the 10 km egg: Magicarp. As well as Rhyhorn, Charmander, Bulbasaur. Maybe Poliwag, too.
Somehow I doubt that people would be happy with this.
