Groudon and kyogre have a week left in rotation, how likely is it niantic will give us another shiny rerun over a new legendary?
A few people in my discord jokingly said ho-oh and lugia, because we all know how much niantic LOVES returning to old pokemon. Personally im hoping its a new legendary; getting a new, more capable phone to play GO on at the end of febuary and would rather not getting rayquaza's return being unable to raid (crashed out even in tier 1s/gym battles).
Personally, im hoping we get regigigas, be glad to get it out of the way while the weather's bad and wouldn't miss out on much.
Why the hate for Regigigas? Zen Headbutt/Avalanche makes it a powerful pseudo-ice attacker, It would have the 4th highest DPS against Rayquaza of the available options while being substantially bulky, and we all know you got a thing for bulk.
I would say it's built for PvP given its charge moves but both of its fast moves have abysmal energy gain - maybe a parallel to its Slow Start ability or just really unlucky?
Dont hate regigigas, personally my second favorite. I know its going to be great as a pseudo ice attacker, but when your competition's mamoswine... Being a gen 4 fan, i hope sometime we get an exclusive move, crush grip on it, love to see a great neutral normal powerhouse.
Hadn't even thought about for PvP, mostly as up till now my phone's been incapable of it. Them having those moves as a reference to slowstart while a nice touch, I hope doesnt hinder it too much., though might do well agaisnt giratina running SC
Honestly my thing about bulk isnt "bulk always better" ive learnt DPS is the name of the game in raids, and in PvP it is more important, but so are movesets. It's more a reliability thing in raids for me honestly, glass cannons can be either really great or crash and burn in a bad match up, not exactly bulk persay, but somewhat related. And the machamp thing early on, that was me just being an idiot.
Yeah, Mamoswine dunks all over the ice type game. A pretty large number of things would need to line up to make Gigas more desirable than other ice type attackers, namely Mamoswine's availability and someone lacking Ice Beam Mewtwo, but it could fill a niche if need be.

I have 5 accounts 40, 39, 36, 35, 35 (3 phones). My 40 is the only one that has more than 70 Swinub candy, the others are 100% free accounts. You're right though, almost all the sunny Swinub I caught were traded to the smaller ones and quite a few went lucky and evolved to Piloswine. Yeah, doesn't help a bit in the effort to get candy from mine to the others. (I'd like to duo Rayquaza with mine plus any of the other 4 when I buy a raid pass box on my big account)***guess my level 39 does have 500 Swinub candy and 4 lucky Piloswine level 32-33. So not a complete one account team.
