Ex raid in different continent
What's good friends? I live in europe and my family lives across the atlantic in the states. They just got two EX raids and want to invite me. I know i have to be there physically so I am going to give them control of my account so our three accounts can try and score a deoxys (none of us have it.) I am a pretty active player so I want to try and play as much until I should stop to risk a ban. How long between signing out and logging back in should we wait? The raid is this saturday at 5 pm east coast time. I was thinking of not playing for a day or so before asking them to log in.

well guess what, people sometime move away from their family and friends. I see why this could be tempting even though I prefer to find invites through my local community rather than risking it. But I guess everyone doesn't end up in a city with active community and many ex eligible gyms.
I never spoofed, never will spoof, still when I had my first Mewtwo EX invite I was on holiday in Belgium. Could not catch the purple cat. So I asked a really close friend of mine (who also plays PoGo) to catch it for me. To not risked getting banned I didnt play for 1 whole day, before and after it.
Is this spoofing? Nah. Account sharing? Maybe but for one Pokemon. Against the ToS? Absolutely. Would I do it again? Absolutely.
I agree it might be against the terms of service but it's far from spoofing especially if this is something you're doing for an EX raid. This is coming from someone who doesn't tolerate spoofers.
I would sign out of the account like 16h or so before that way it's like if you took a plane and a little more time just incase to avoid a ban. Deoxys is a dex entry non the less but would not recommend investing stardust in the deoxys it think its def stat is 46 and gengars is around 150 to give you an idea.
Not even might be, account sharing is explicitly against T.O.S. I'm not one to call the kettle black though, I borrow my fiancee's account regularly for EX raids and events she otherwise would miss out on. While we don't live together she doesn't live across the globe or anything ridiculous so a 2 hour wait before logging in to her account is fine. That's roughly the amount of time it would take one of us to drive to the other.
If you catch a 12/15/15 Deoxys-A one power up will set it right at 1500cp. It could be a fun wild card to toss into Great League for lulz more than anything else.
