About exclusive moves

Some threads on TSR have confimred that unlocking the 2nd move or spamming CTM's won't land you Grass Knot.

Anyone done a Breloom raid (if it's still in rotation)? Get Grass Knot?

Unfortunately, this doesn't work. Multiple people tried it during Feraligatr day, and yielded no results, so I highly doubt Niantic would make an exception for this.

Plus, high IV Shroomish aren't hard to come by in the wild, especially in this event. (as many places are sunny at least sometimes) If you had a 100 IV, just have it with the Fighting set, as it's great to begin a short man Tier 4 raid, (Before the boss charges its move) and pretty much anywhere else where Machamp can be used.
