Its really true, hes possible to get? Cause in Europe we will have chance tomorrow to try. Someone can confirm?

They haven't confirmed or denied it. It's being anticipated that shiny Groudon will be available but we won't know for sure until the event starts in roughly 6 and a half hours. It would seem strange to have one T5 be shiny-eligible but not the other.

A person in my raid group asked Niantic and sent a reply confirming the release of shiny Groudon during the event

Is it true that a shiny raid boss can't flee? Does that mean that if its catch rate (for shiny raid boss) is 100% you can catch it with a miserable non curved throw? Or does it mean that as long as you land your last ball you will catch it?
Or is this all a myth?

No one said anything about being unable to flee. I'd guess if you managed to miss it with every single throw it would still run, though I've never seen it firsthand and I'm not about to test this.

The rest is true though. Shiny legendaries have a 100% catch rate. The first ball to hit it with a regular Pinap and any shitty throw will catch it.

If you hit it you get it. I do not know of a single case where someone has tested throwing all balls away. But you are a brave trainer and in order to tbe the best there ever was you should test for us.

100% catch rate if you hit it with a poke ball. However, if you manage to get up over 60 mph then you get hard speed capped and it will not stay in the ball.
