Which is better (Avalanche for charge is obvious). Feint attack or ice shard?

It depends if you intend to teach Weavile a second charge move.

If yes, then go with Ice Shard and add Foul Play. If not, then Feint attack to improve its coverage.

I’m curious why you’re recommending ice shard over feint attack when 2 charge moves are used. Are you talking about PVP or raids/gyms?

For PVP (where I’m using it) Feint attack is faster and does more damage at the cost of .33 energy. But I could be missing an important point.

For me, energy gain is more important. Ice shard isn't too far behind in overall damage output. Both are fine options though and is probably a matter of personal preference, partly depending on what the local meta is like.
