Tier 4 Solo Guides

Since the rebalance, Tier 4's with double weakness (bar Absol) are soloable under certain conditions (Weather in almost cases).
Rhydon, Golem, Absol and Tyranitar can be soloed at the time.
Do you think Gamepress should write guides for soloing Tier 4's?

I don't think they would because they'd all end up sounding more or less the same: Use 6 maxed [X Pokemon] with [Y moveset] in [Z weather] with the best IVs you have, 15a being essential to some like Tyranitar. I could see them making addendums to the existing duo guides stating which Pokemon are viable for a solo, similar to the way trio guides point out when something is good enough for a duo at a higher level.

Of course they should do that. Soloing T4 is the only really interesting thing right now for us who are not thrilled with PvP.

Being a casual player Claydol was the only T3 I didn’t manage before the rebalance, now T3 is a joke.

I dont think so, mostly as they are so limited to require specific movesets and weather boost at max level, sometimes with 15 atk or near perfect over all iv's,

Similar to shuckle now being soloable, thoug requiring perfect meteor mash metagross with snow, its so specific and no room for error.

The only criteria: can your team manage 41.7 DPS average over 180s? For most, that's 6 of a specific counter; for Rhydon, there's several options you can use to pad a team out.

I don't see why not. The new Tier 4 is like the old Tier 3 Claydol/Jolteon (no boost), which are both solos literally only 2 pokemon can manage.
