Can't replicate Bioweapon's master league numbers; help!
So I was reading the article "Learning Team Composition: How to Be the Very Best" and I wanted to replicate some of the research and add a few changes. For example, I wanted to test Gyarados with Dragon Breath. So I went to a spreadsheet (copied from Ryan Swgtips), entered the data for master league and voila, a lot of beautiful data.
Unfortunately something is off. The numbers don't match those in the article. For example, according to Bioweapon Mewtwo (w Shadow Ball + Ice Beam) beats Groudon with a score of 1.223 using the 1 shield strat. But when I run that same matchup it says that Mewtwo beats Groudon with a score of 0.836!
It's not just that 1 matchup either; none of the numbers match.
Did something change to the Battle Matrix after writing the article? Or am I doing something wrong. I entered the following code:
