Linoone for Great League?

I have a lvl 33 Linoone 100 IV which puts CP at 1496. It has the moveset of Shadow Claw and Thunder. I'm wondering if this is a decent use for Great league? Any thoughts?

I think dig would be better than thunder. Won't win them all, but you won't lose them all either.

You're probably right, but not sure I want to use a charged TM on it. only have a couple of those and it seems like they're becoming more and more scarce...

It could be a fun wild card. I think Grass Knot is its best PvP move. If you feel like dumping 10k dust into a second move you could see what you get there instead of spending a CTM on it.

After trying out some options I'd agree with this - Grass Knot is surprisingly decent in the Great League.

Taking that and then possibly adding a 2nd move with Dig would be pretty strong.

Linoone was one of the first I used. It is pretty cheap to make and can hurt quite some pokemon with grass knot and dig. I still sometimes use it to switch up my team

I use it quite frequently to surprise opponents and throw them off, so I'd say yes
