Not that I have seen. Im somewhat glad its gone, as the new research for it is also easy and doesnt require spending stardust.

I got in the habit of saving 3-5 level 1 wild catches, so that each power up only cost 200 dust. But I guess I can transfer the ones I have been saving for that purpose.

I used that trick myself, but it still felt like wasting dust, powering upsomethign just to transfer it.

I know its a heck of a lot better to do level 1's than powering up things like lucky level 20+'s dust wise, but at least i'd get some use ou of those.

Echoing MetagrossMaxis, no reports of it on TSR and apparently there are 2 new silver pinap quests so pretty safe assumption that it's gone.

Yes, spin ten stops or gyms for 5 silver pinap is pretty easy (especially when you're spinning a lot of stops to find the new quests).

On the flip side, the Spinda quest is pretty tricky. I'll probably carry one for a while and finish it by accident. I find it easier to rattle off great hits when I'm not worrying about it.

The best way to complete it is to either be patient and circlelock every mon, or just throw nanabs. Catching a Heatran should do the trick most of the time as well.

5 in a row is gonna be a challenge for me too. I know i can do it but ill always have bad luck with something jumping at the last second or forgetting about it and seeing STREAK BROKEN!

I know that on this site it says 5 "great" curveballs in a row, but isn't the task actually just 5 curveballs in a row?

I am a big fan of this task in past months, but have not seen it (or the new task: spin for 5 silver pinaps) thus far in January. I am surprised at the responses of those who think this is a waste of stardust. Don't you guys get lucky pokemon and then power them up? I have two Power up 10x in queue and wish I could get a third so I can complete it.
