Actuall value of pokemons

Hi!
I am not selling my account or mons, just wondering what the value of these fuckers are. Saw youtuber Brandon "selling" a 100% mewtwo without Shadow Ball for 500$

What pricetag would you out on these fuckers? :)

Mewtwo 100% with shadow ball and focus blast
Moltres 100% with sky attack and overheat
Shiny Wynant

Please add something you value and see what others might price it for.

Zero.

That's the only value for every and for all possible Pokemon's no matter the moves, IVs. No value. You just made the silliest question ever posted on this website...

Anything that someone is willing to pay for can be assigned a value, whatever it is. I often think what my various gaming accounts are worth, but then I think, do I REALLY own them at all? My stuff only exists on the servers that could be shut down at any time so online collections have no long term value, only short term IF someone is willing to pay the going rate at that time. The fact real money is spent on the game, and the old adage, time is money, should mean your collection builds in value as time goes on, but again, it begs the question, do we really own it?

100IV Mewtwo none Shadow ball was sold for $999 on ebay Dec. 23, 2018. It also depends on the trainer level, stardust, coins, and etc.

Dude what? I got a 100% IV Shadoe Ball Mewtwo. Who wants to buy? Starting at $2000

Can almost guarantee that it wasn't actually paid for. Most silly things like that, such as the special shape cheeto's, special bread, etc are never actually paid for, they'll just show up as a successful auction.

I've always thought that assigning price tags to Pokemon was a silly thing (on top of violating ToS; Brandon Tan got his account suspended for 30 days, I think, after pulling that stunt). Here's why:

IVs are rerolled upon trade, so a 100% is highly unlikely to remain a 100%.

If someone is catching a 100% for you, you a) have to give someone access to your account, which is a huge risk. And b) if it's a legendary, you could have that person do hundreds of raids for you and never see the 100% (and be out a ton of raid passes).

The only sure method for getting a 100% legendary from someone is to buy their whole account, which means you'll never have that perfect Mon on your main account. Just not worth it in my humble opinion. Plus, the actual difference in performance between, for example, a 100% Mewtwo and a 89% Mewtwo is mostly neglible.

Nothing. Its just a value people place on them thats different for everyone. Even if I didnt have a shadow ball mewtwo, I wouldn't pay anything for it.

The difference between a 67% and a 100% raid catch are so insignificant, its just a pseudo superiority mentality

I know that accounts have somesort of value... Because people buy and sell them everyday... Individual Pokémon not so much.... Seriously what use is an account with just a single or even dozen Pokémon no matter how rare or good they are? After all you can’t trade for a hundo because of the IV reroll which in my opinion is one of the smartest things Niantic implemented

I raided like crazy for expasses to Mewtwo, I think I have in total been to 15 exraids before his month. I know the odds and it's terrible. For me it has high value, would not trade it for anything. Even for 2000 dollars. The same with moltres, I raided ish 100 moltreses and finally met that 1870, it ran because of comday shit servers after two balls. After 30 moltres trades I got that perfect one. Thats my all time fav. Would not trade it for anything.
The wynant I hatched has trading value, I would say 200 dollars or more because of the odds and the eggs/effort it takes. I saw a shiny elikid, the offers where crazy. Accounts full of highly sought after shinies
and lvl 40 accounts. 500-700 dollars?

Just for fun.

I am not selling my account nor mons. How do you value them not for trades but for referance. Put it in cash.

You better live in the real world. Niantic hands us over the rarest possible Pokemon for free. Every player has had and will have their shot at getting everything in the game. For free. Nothing in pogo has real money value. Those actually paying or worrying about pricing for this game are just a bunch of dumb people. Fools, ignorants who think they can either be privileged by spending their money buying pogo account or scammers who sell them.

Don't think about trades. How would you put their value?
As a skeleton, say for an account value.
Value your mons :)

You seem to miss a point. The "service" was to get them on the buyers account of course since trading would reroll IV.

So if you dont sell the whole account your hundos are not interesting for anyone.

But yes, like in every game there seem to be enough people to create that kind of market

One observation is that many people were willing to raid until they got a 100%. The expected number of raids required to obtain one, assuming it is caught when first encountered, is 216, and Mewtwo was available to the public for approximately a month, so assuming they used the free passes, we have a rough estimate of ~185$ for a non-Shadow Ball 100%. We can try to imitate this technique for Shadow Ball Mewtwo, but the assumption that one is willing to raid until one is obtained is much shakier, since this is a much larger endeavor when Mewtwo was EX locked. Obviously, it would be worth a lot more than a 100% non-SB, so quite a bit more than 185$. If we estimate that a smart raider can get an EX Pass for every 20 passes used, we would expect a 100% SB to be worth 20 times as much, or 3700$. This seems high, but people were paying Tan 500$ for a non-SB 100%, so a few players might actually be willing to give this much, supposing that such a "purchase" were possible. As far as how much the value increases when it is maxed out with Shadow Ball and Focus Blast is an interesting question as well, but not by much - it is less than the value of the resources invested in maxing it out and adding the extra move, since they are locked into Mewtwo already and not freely investable, and someone purchasing a Mewtwo for this amount almost certainly has the resources to do it themselves if needed. So, perhaps 3700$ (which still sounds crazy to think of someone paying that much), but for sure at least 2000$. You could try making a similar argument with your Moltres; the shiny Wynaut is probably of low value relative to these other two.

you can get shadow ball without going to an ex raid, which devalues shadow ball sonehow, although you can prove ex raid status with time stamp :)

It might be a good clickbaity title if you're looking to sell it on eBay, but if people know who you are you're gonna get banned, as its against the terms of service to sell anything related to the account.

SchrightDwute, that was an awsome reply. Again not selling shit, not trading it either. Have not seen such a post here. Just trying to set a value of something I have spent a shitloads of cash on. Played the odds, won some, lost alot. More answers like SchrightDwute is what I am after.

In my opionion, every mon that a spoofer would have to grind for as much for as legits holds more value. Hatches and legendaries.

Agree on the baby btw.

Omastar double rock legacy, thoughts?

Buying these Pokemon using real life money is lame.

IMO there's a market, no idea how big it is but it exists

People do pay for mons, especally shiny ones, just as they pay for cosmetics in other games
