What would you like to see in Pogo in 2019?

What would improve things for you next year? Personally, I'd like to see a gym rework, a more fun & interesting way to get coins would be top of my list. Community Weekends I hope will make a comeback, the last one was excellent. A PvP lobby where you can find a match, when you want, battle as much as you want & just have aload of fun with it. Love PvP but finding people on your friends list up for a match when you're at a loose end is super annoying & frustrating, I can't be the only one!!

I'd like to see the end of people using vaporeon in gyms. Its been knocked down by rebalance after rebalance, its terrible on offense, compared to milotic and gyarados, not even a good defender anymore.

This will likely happen the day people also stop using the auto-select teams of Aggrons for raids. 😉

Post-rebalance, Vaporeon is the second bulkiest defender that's not weak to Machamp. Disregarding the fact that gym defense is useless now and every defender, including Blissey, is a joke, Vaporeon is comparatively not that bad.

Matchmaking is my number one desire!

Here's my hopes for PoGo in 2019:

• Gym rework. Right now, the gym scene just feels unfulfilling and stagnant. It would be nice if there was a sense of challenge in battling gyms. Also, even though players can now work on the Ace Trainer badge once again thanks to PvP, I'd still like to see training come back as a gym feature. Perhaps as a way to remotivate your defending team, and a secondary way to increase the Ace Trainer badge.

• PvP Matchmaking. While I can usually find a friend or five who's free to battle, a matchmaking system would be excellent for players who want to use the feature but lack a network of other players (Discord, Slack, etc).

• New research tasks/rewards that focus on PvP.

• The Triumphant return of Groudon and Rayquaza to t5 raids with their shiny forms!

• An indicator in your friends list that shows if a friend has an unopened gift from you (so you don't need to click on people's profiles to see if they have an unopened gift).

• The ability to mass-transfer event Pikachu. I can dream, right?

• Party. Hat. Wurmple.

• Signature moves for legendary Mons.

I'm sure PvP rewards will come, probably in special research. I think it would be an issue with Niantic Kids.

Please let me send pikachu away en masse.

Palkia and Dialga. Rayquaza raid day where the special move is Sky Attack. Shiny Groudon. Ability to put out a challenge to a random trainer and fight them. Mamoswine. Magnezone. Raising the level cap. Ability to tweak stats +1 to -3, so a CP ~2200 cap Pokemon at 1501 isn't useless. Free beer. I'll stop now, ....

I don't think Rayquaza was ever able to learn Sky Attack in the main series sadly.

Why would Rayquaza learn Sky Attack (which it can't in the main series) when it has its own flying-type signature move Dragon Ascent?

I would love a move throwback event. Like, for 48 hours Pokemon would get moves that they've learned it until 6 months they're released (Legacy, baring CD moves). That way, you could get great stuff like Karate Chop Machamp and Shadow Claw Gengar, among others :)

I would like to see the end of Community Day ... I personally love the event, I’m just sooo tired of the constant whining about it ... Instead do a raid day.... Put the base form in 7k eggs (Niantic sells more incubators) and make the base form a tier 1 raid for the weeks leading up to the raid day (Niantic sells more raid passes) ... Raid day comes you raid the evolved form with a shiny chance and for 24 hrs from the start of the event to evolve one with the special move... Hardcore players can short man it for the extra drops and save on the candy used to evolve it... Casuals have 2 or 3 weeks to do an easy solo raid and hatch eggs and get enough candy and 24 hrs to evolve one with the special move

Stability and reliability improvements. The only bugs in the game should be Caterpie, Weedle, Pinsir, Spinarak, Ledyba, etc.``

PvP: I'd like matchmaking as well and for Silph League tournaments to take off and finally give us some kind of a competitive scene. It has been sorely missing from this game.

Other than that, stability and QoL-features. Rest of the gen 4 crossgen evolutions. Ultra boxes with a lot of star pieces and no lucky eggs. Raid days. More special research quests.

Abilities and Status Effects to give the game more depth. Seriously combat is still just mindless mashing and only pokemon that matter are those with highest base stats. PvP changed it a bit but it's only for PvP so...
