Whats mean DPS^3*TDO, on calculators?

What this statistic shows?

I think it relates the DPS with the TDO so you can evaluate a mon for how much damage does vs how much it can hold in battle, but I'm not exactly sure why they did that exactly formula to it... I think there's a post somewhere in the site that explains it

So DPS multiplied by DPS multiplied by DPS multiplied by TDO
where DPS = Damage per Second, TDO = Total damage over time (Total Damage Output). According to this formula, the assumption is that the value or worth of DPS is three times as important as total damage over time.

Ohhhh yeah, damn... I was reading it wrong so I was confuse by it, I was reading like this: DPS^(3*TDO) instead of: (DPS^3)*TDO

So this gives some bulky mons the power to go up in ranks, but just not as much as the one they had before wich was straight: DPS*TDO... For me is useless though, I don't know about you guys but I have my mons registered in pokegenie and it gives me the best options for raiding and I can even sort if I want the mons from my box that will do more dps or if I want TDO

It's nice if you want to split the difference - basically gives the Pokémon that'll do decent damage while not annihilating your revive/potion pile...
