Bug: Unableto power some Pkmn

Since yesterday the "Power Up" button on some of my Pokemon (Salamence, Gengar, Metagross...) has become unresponsive, whereas it works fine on some others.
Do you have an idea of what causes this, or how to solve it?

The in-app report system actually is helpful. It showed me the correct answer immediately.

all pokemon in parties are unable to be powered up. take them out and you should be able to power them up

It is actually a smart restriction, because say you have a guy at 1498 or something for Great League battling and you mistakenly power him up, that would be a horrible accident. I have powered guys up by accident many times.
