Double candy stays or leaves when double dust arrives?

Question is in the title. I’m just trying to make sure when I should transfer in some legendaries.

The ingame news doesn't say, but the Niantic website does; the bonuses run in succession, only one active at a time.

We do get a free incubator daily for the whole time though.

The in-game news makes more sense after being aware of one bonus at a time. I hadn’t been using many pinaps, I will now. TBH we would have so much Heatran candy if it went double the whole holiday. We already will have enough since easy to beat (more balls to catch)

I’m saving my Larvitars and Beldums for 3 candies trades. Not as fast but saves a lot of walking (for me it’s 1035 km to walk to earn that extra candy for each I trade for 2 candies)
