Research Rewards: Location-Stamp Question
Does anyone know when the location-stamp is established for research rewards?
For instance, let's say you pick up a research task, complete it, start the reward-encounter, and lastly run from the encounter and "bank it," all at Location A. Then, you proceed to travel miles away to Location B and catch your banked encounter. Would the captured Pokémon have a location stamp for Location A or B?
Thanks in advance!
Answers
Ha! It does I guess. No, I'm actually going to be traveling long-distance for the holidays, and I was wondering if I could bank a handful of Feebas research encounters, catch them all while I'm far away, and then bring them back here for 3-candy trades with my community. :)
Besides, if I was a spoofer, I wouldn't bother asking about it here; I'd just test it out myself from my couch.
Location B is what gets recorded, since it's the actual catch location. I've saved encounters for trips numerous times to get free distance mons.
A few times I've even taken the train to the next city since its cheap and just crosses the 100km line. Clear the queue, take the next train back with 100 new distance mons.
