New Moves Precipice Blades and Origin Pulse

Will you instantly have 6 Precipice Blades Groudon when it gets released? Probably not, so your old Groudon won't be useless.

The moves are by no means new by the way, they've been in the game files for a long time. Nobody knows if it takes a month or five years for them to release those moves.

Cld b a second move for pvp. Anyways Niantic isnt gonna make new mons progressively weaker than the mons before them. Meaning theres always gonna be better newer stuff. Half of this game is managing ur resources and maximizing ur returns at least for skilled trainers.

There is a clear solution. Send mons that make you sad to the professor or trade them away. You should not look at things that upset you.

So now origin pulse kyogre is better than hydro pump kyogre... so HP is number 2 water attacker I would not call that a waste

Yes, now that we know the mechanism for getting a second move, there probably will be a connected mechanism for getting an exclusive move - maybe a quest, with an exclusive TM (XTM) as the reward, maybe you buy it the same way you buy the second move, maybe it opens up when you reach a high enough level (over 40 , maybe). Bottom line is we don't know the mechanism, and we don't know if we need to catch a new one, or can put it on an old one. It might be one per trainer (like mythical pokemon that aren't Meltan), or it may cost more for each new one you buy.

The worst thing you can do is to fret about things becoming worthless. Wait until it actually happens before fretting - this is a game, and we play it for fun, not to fret.

Dont get upset about it yet, we dont ven know if these moves will be added in their present form like blast burn they could be substantially nerfed before release.

My personal hope about those two moves is that they dont release precipice blades or origin pulse for groudon and kyogre respectively, rather what they do is when they primal revert (if that add this) earthquake becomes precipice blades and hydropump becomes origin pulse. That way people dont get butthurt about "the wasted rarecandy"
And its not like those groudon and kyogre has Rc 'wasted' on them, I dont think you would have been able to do as many raids as you have done had you not powered them up.

My 93% Groudon with MS/EQ has won so many gym battles and participated in so many raid teams that my investment in it will never be wasted even if Groudon with PB gets released.

My recently-caught 98% Magikarp, on the other hand...

'When they re-release them with this legacy moves it will make my old kyogre and groudon really weak'
They will be as strong as they are now and i wouldn't call 2nd place really weak.
