Which Dratini should I evolve?

Not being fortunate enough to ever even see a Dragonite in the wild, I have finally caught enough Dratini's to evolve one.

I have been fortunate, I have two to chose from, one is 587 CP 98% IV, the other is 477 and 100% IV. I only have enough candy to evolve one through and maybe power it up a little if the move set it right.

So do I go with the higher CP to get the highest CP Dragonite or go for the higher IV?

Evolve them both lol There are no wrong answers here but to be technical, I'd evolve the 100 IV one first

Yea, the but the issue is I am level 27 and I finally have enough candy to evolve one, who knows how long it will take me to evolve another one!!

Find out what their levels are.
Then find out how much how much candy you need to spend on the 100% one in order to reach the same level as the 98% one.

If you think that this number of candies are worth spending in order to have a 100% instead of 98%, go for it.

Is there any dratinis bellow 90% IVs out there? I don't think so. Apparently they all come above that... Every 15 y-o kid around here has "perfect IVs" dratinis... That's incredible

Even before the Dex Number IV bug, only 4/25 dratini I caught were over 80%

98 and 100 , no difference at all, make sure the move set is what u should looking for

98%, or do you want to invest even more candies so your Dragonite is finally maxed out? 2% is not worth it, but keep it anyway for the future.

So I went ahead and evolved the 100%, did not see the note to check the level, so I did not before hand.

Caught a break and got the best defensive move set (Steel Wing/Dragon Pulse), so I went ahead and powered it up as much as I could. Spent about 40k stardust (been banking it, had over 600k) and got it up to 2500 CP. Needless to say I am pretty happy. I will work on getting enough candy to evolve the 98%.
