Question about generalist against specialist.
Say, against Raikou at T5. will shadow ball mewtwo do better then Rhyperior since Mewtwo has such high attacl? How about compare to groudon?
Also, how different will it be?
I am thinking about whether or not I should get a team of ground type or maybe just 3 of the best.

There are hundreds of websites that you can look these things up, with great accuracy might be better than asking people’s opinions on random websites....Who knows? Maybe you might actually learn something and not have to constantly ask questions about game basics... Nevermind the fact that you almost always get the WRONG answer on sites like this
I assumed the Rhyperior would be better than the generalist, but after glancing at Pokebattler I could barely tell the difference in TTW for a Mewtwo Shadowball or a Rhyperior Earthquake vs Raikou. Resistance to electric obviously favors the Rhyperior, but that not a huge deal to me. Decent chance he did look at the closeness of the two and he was making a statement in the form of a question/topic.
Shadow Ball Mewtwo and Rayquaza will not work better than Rhyperior vs Raikou but they will be much better than any ground type that are not Groudon, Garchomp, Mamoswine and Rhyperior.
Generalists are also virtually useless on more complicated raids unless they are boosted or Super Effective, because they need super effective damage. Even Dragon Tail Outrage Rayquaza won't fare well against the harder raids without Windy Weather.
But seriously yours is a very bad example because earthquake and bulldoze are just outright horrid and unviable. Earthquake is just clumsy slow and hits like a pillow and Bulldoze is better but still very bad.
If both Earthquake and Solar Beam hit on the same level of effectiveness like in Groudon, Solar Beam is better and i mean MUCH better even without STAB, it's just how bad it is. There is a chance that they will buff them but do not count on it.
