As above. Research reward 100% Scyther. I have 140 candies 330k dust

Other relevant pokemon I have:

7 hatched/raid boss Scyther, lvl 20
1 Scizor 87% 14a lvl 20
4 decent Pinsir lvls 25-30
3 MM Metagross Lvl 30+

Not enough people in my town to do Legendary raids so current/future legendaries not really a consideration. Same with gym defence, coins are easy to come by. I missed bulbasaur CD so will be looking for those over CD weekend but have 3-6 of all other relevant CD mons this year.

What, if anything, to do with it?

If you haven't finished Meltan, you *must* evolve a scyther to do so. ergo I say evolve at that step.

I'be been looking but every one of the 14 pokestops in town seems to be stuck on evolve 2 anoriths or hatch 1 or 2 eggs. I've had nothing else all week. Good old RNG.

Should be alright, It should be a better choice than your 87 scizor if you have the resources.
