Are all Tier 3 raids "easy" doable after CP change?

Saw Jolteon and wanted to figure out how close my team is to win and then optimize / power up some mons. Managed to solo Jolteon with no wheather boost. Team is below. Did not use Groudon at my 6th place. I think my team is far away from optimal but not bad by any means. Definitly was surprised that i won. So i was thinking is there any tier 3 raid that is not solo doable or can give hard struggle after cp rework?

Everything’s is pretty much nerfed so badly it’s ridiculous....really hard to find any challenge in any lv raid.... just like the casuals and rural players wanted....

When were casuals and rural players asking for battles to be easier?

Sounds like you are salty at your own delusions.

Pretty much in every comment in every thread before the started hitting ultra friends .... Just scroll back a few months and read the countless posts demanding the removal of raid timers, the lowering of boss cp, and my personal favorite elimination of all raids above tier one

Ah yes because that beats being condescending, lacking any real proof to counter the OP and obviously ignorant on general human tendencies.

Shuckle is still impossible.

Umbreon will also be very difficult. 6 maxed machamps (2nd best counter 0.4 raw DPS behind Breloom) only manage 86-106% damage in neutral weather in 180s.

Claydol is still tough but far more doable after Gengar Day. Tangela, Donphan, Onix, and Alakazam are all now straightforward and easily repeatable without worrying about movesets.

Edit: forgot about the metal pterodactyl. Skarmory will be tough, but has a wider range of counters with Raikou and the various powerful fire types.

Was able to do claydol before. One maxed Shadow claw gengar and two maxed kyogre a third pretty high around lvl 36-37. To Solo Hard Tier 3 Raids were always my way to power up mons. And every first win is a thrill in this game that lacks other challenges. Thanks for reply.

Three maxed out Machamps with 15 attack give you an 100% win rate in neutral weather against Umbreon, granted against it toughest moves its only by a few seconds....but still an easy win with the lobby glitch..... Three average Kyogre beat Claydol in every weather and every move set easily..... Skarmory I haven’t done yet but seems very straight forward .... lighting or fire depending on the weather .... The fact is with trading and the recent nerf nothing is even remotely difficult .... I take that back Deoxys with double electric moves in rainy weather is a difficult two man probably the trickiest raid I have done in awhile

Yes the CP change made it much easier. Not only do your Pokemon survive longer but also the boss has less defence.

Even a casual player can solo everything now (except Shuckle of course)

Would like to see Niantic giving T3 more CP to balance things out.

A lot of casual players do not have high level counters to everything so they could very well be unable to solo the harder raids still.

A fair point... But honestly I don’t think the average casual player is soloing anything above tier 2 anymore, times have changed.... I have walked up on groups of 7 or 8 casuals afraid of going in on Giratina more than few times... Groups of 3 afraid of Tyranitar.... I’m talking fairly high LV players mid to upper 30’s

That's the perspective I was coming from above. The mid core players are probably the ones on the line.

According to Pokebattler, the TTW for a level 30 Tyranitar against Alakazam has decreased from ~175s to ~160s.

Looks like there is no point in maxing out my 98% Gyarados; at level 30, it is more than viable against Donphan (~166s), Flareon (~159s), Onix (~141s) and even Ninetales (~167s).

Yes, I think you are correct. However, to make up for the substantial easing of making almost all T3s soloable, Niantic seems to have selected T3 raid bosses that largely are not worth soloing.
