Server errors. No one died, no property destroyed. Contrast with Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, or the current California wildfires, where there are several dead and millions of dollars in property damage.
Seriously, Mr-ex777, every time you post like this you insult everyone involved in these real disasters, and make yourself look like an overzealous idiot who can contrast problems in a little online game with actual natural disasters. Get real.
Sure, the event went bad in Asia again. Maybe Niantic will figure it out eventually. But no one died. Chill out.
I think it's not the server breaking down that Mr-Ex777 is angry about, but the fact that Niantic isn't learning from their mistakes. Last month the server broke down, and this month the same, and notice it was ONLY FOR ASIA. Niantic has spoiled at least 3 CDays for Asia, and I can accept that they accidentally spoiled a CDay, but not if they keep making the same mistake again and again.
Probably bagon, salamence getting outrage, the one next most likely after that seems to be trapinch which could get something, but likely would be novelty unless its earthpower and the move is made sufficiently strong
Hate to be the bearer of bad news for all the hopeful, but The two popular others are extremely unlike to get CDs, either ralts or slakoth because fast moves people want to for them would be unrealistic to be added, disarming voice would need to be mae into a fast move for gardevoir (which would cuse several problems for other pokemon with those moves, meta relevant or not it wuld still cause problems for them) and even if that happened, it would make gardevoir any more or less relevant than it alrady is, slit CD with gallade would be problematic for gallade's specific evolution requirements, namely the male only part. Slaking getting an actual fast move also seems unrealistic because the reason it got Yawn was a way of having its ability Truant in the game, and even with an actual fast move, it still wouldn't be useful given the effectiveness profile of normal types and it having hyperbeam as well as having a damaging fast move would only let machamp kill it faster in gyms.
If they by chance do some CD pokemon that have special evolution requirements (ie items) the most likely ones fall to togekiss or Rhyperior, given their popularity among fansas well as hype surrounding moves we'd liek them to get, fairy wind and rock wrecker respectively, but like the two previous, these seem unlikely.
All true .... But none of that changes the fact that the vast majority of players couldn’t give a Fig about move sets all they want is Shiny versions of each evolution and high IV’s and as much candy possible in order to lv them up... Niantic is a business and if they are good at one thing it’s pandering to the casual, collector, shiny crowd. So if the demand for Ralts Community Day is there ( personally I think it is ) Niantic will figure out a way.
I have no doubt niantic could figure out a way, but it would require a massive bending of the rules to give it a relevant move, they could for all we know just give it a trash move, iyts just going to be candy/novelty, possibly future sight could be good, being something like what draco meteor was for dragonite.
I dont think pandering is the right word, had they done that we'd all get guaranteed perfect iv shinies on CD's, raid bosses with access to all legacy moves on pokemon that have them, by the same logic we'd have gotten boosted storage by now seeing as how much people want that.
