Rayquaza trade power up

So I got a rayquaza, not lucky, from a trade. It either has 15 attack, 13 defense, 10 hp. Or 15 attack, 12 defense, and 11 hp. The rayquaza is 2046 Cp. do you think I should power it up or wait for rayquaza’s return. Thanks for the advice.

Heck yeah i'd power it up, 15 atk on a rayquaza's fantastic. I did a trade, nonlucky 93% 13 atk, 15 def, maxed it out (my only Ray at the moment)

with giratina out and likely palkia next, it will be exceedingly valuable and we dont know when rayquaza comes back, and having one extra rayquaza never hurt anyone (other than a raidboss)

It's good enough to power up, but I think it is likely that Rayquaza will return sometime soon. How badly do you need another strong dragon attacker? If you can wait a little while, I would suggest doing that, but if you really need it now, maybe take it up to level 30. It also depends on how much stardust and rare candy you have. If you have plenty, then you can power up this one now, and still have resources in the event that you get a better one in the near future.

Not so likely, not so soon. IMO there's no indication we are seeing Ray anytime soon. But who knows, Niantic has surprised us a few times in the past.

Agreed, best I see maybe it comes back for a week or few days, but no full return until after the first wave of gen 4 legends.

Plus when it comes back you'd want Rayquaza for fighting it

As mentioned before. If you really need a Dragon type attacker, mabye for Giratina, you might want to power it up. For me it goes like, unless i really like the pokemon, mabye if it's really useful in gyms (Machamp), or really need to power up (let's say, we don't have enough people to defeat it), then I'll give it a shot powering it up, otherwise, I'll just save some stardust. Hope I helped in someway! ;D
