Evolve now?!

Have this little guy here and want to know if Haunters evolved during Gengar Day will have Lick. He’s 91 IVs with 14A 15D 12H and L28.

Pretty much official that Gengars evolved during the event will have the move but not 100%. I would just wait the few days at this point. Usually I think it’s silly saving Pokémon that may never have a CD or another year in the future. I think waiting 3 more days seems plausible

Pokemon.com has said that evolving gives Lick/Psychic, which is an official source, but it's not Niantic, so there's still a chance the information is wrong. And it's not like you're losing anything by waiting until Saturday to evolve it.

I would think it would not be a good idea for Niantic to make pokemon.com into an inaccurate source.
...but Niantic

It's not unprecedented that two companies have communication problems about what to announce publicly. But combined with Niantic's other problems at communication, it sure doesn't help that we can't even 100% trust a source that should be 100% trustworthy.
