Lucky Dratini
I have a lucky dratini, pre-lucky buff, 11 hp, 14 atk and 15 defense, level 20. I (will) have 3 other dragonite, 96% and 100% DT/DM and DT/OR respectively, and a 98% research encoutner dratini 15 atk and def. One Rayquqaza (maxed) and no slamence, 372 dratini candy, should I power the lucky up and evolve it
As a side note, have 300 rarecandies and no other meta relevent legendaries to power up, (all three of my SB mewtwo are maxed, but possibly a rayquaza in the next 2 weeks)) worth spending a few on dragonite to be able to reliable trio giratina and eventually palkia?

Faked me out listing the HP first, not keen on wearing glasses typing BS answers. I still would evolve and power up the 98% level 15 dratini. Tough to get candy, but nowhere near tough enough to use RC on. IMO an almost perfect Dragonite very worth regular priced stardust power ups.
Put extra candy into Rayquaza, in preparation for others you will eventually catch.
I’m the opposite of a 15a zealot, actually offended a few days ago that I traded a 964 houndour and it went lucky 1009 to 14a level 34 98%. Guy said he’d trash it:( However, You’ll have and use a 98% outrage Dragonite for a long time.
My rayquaza's already maxed level. I dont know if the second rayquaza trade will go through. We dont know if Rayquaza will come back before palkia comes out, RC used for future rayquaza wont help if it returns long after this.
Im not a super 15a zealot either, 13+ is more than ok with me, the difference in DPS isnt overly significant.
I'm putting rare candy in Rayquaza just to store it, no intention of further powering the two I have already: a 15a/14/13 at level 39 and a 13a/15/13 at 38.5. When the shiny comes out I will max that one, no matter the IVs, plus some 96-100% regular one I might get.
However, my last three Giratina I've gotten 15 hyper potions twice, no rare candy or TMs on any of those. 750 stardust plus catch dust way better than when we got just the catch dust.
I trio 2 Giratina a day, I always get to my second squad, I flip to whatever battle party it'll let me swipe to. Most of the time I just leave it at one with 3 traded level 30 OR dragonites in the 2900s. Vanity and internet sake go for the highest potential cp. Results and depth wise, make two level 33 Dragonite if you want
