Upcoming Gengar Day Pass

Hi, I am a returning F2P player, and I am anticipating upcoming Gengar day (Darn, I love Gengar, he is like my spirit animal, too bad I don't have a shadow claw one)

Due to my busy schedule, I will usually do the raid battle every two days. That is to say, I will spin a pokedisc yesterday, and join a raid battle today. I will spin the pokedisc after I completed the battle (today) and receive another daily raid pass (for today).

As I never join any CD raid day before, I am a bit confused about how does it work next Sunday. From what I know, we will be receiving 5 free passes to fight Gengar during the time slot.

My question is, does this 5 free passes including the daily pass? Initially, I was thinking of following my usual schedule, and fight Gengar like 7 times. Like 2 times (from the daily pass the day before and the day itself) and 5 times by spinning during the time slot of Gengar raid.

My question is, does this way for the previous CD raid battle? Or I can only save 1 daily pass (from the previous day) and the 5 passes on the Gengar day included the daily pass? Or I should use up the daily pass from the previous day, Spin one daily pass before Gengar raid begins, and get another 5 during the time slot?

I know my explanation might sound a little confusing, but I really couldn't find any resource about this. Would appreciate those with experience could help on this. TQ :)

2. During the three hours, you can get up to five free passes.
3. Free passes cannot be stocked up.

So, are you saying the 5 passes on the day itself included the daily pass of that day? :)

Yes.

By "free passes cannot be stocked up" I mean that you cannot just spin gym after gym to have five free passes in your inventory. When you get a free pass, you must use it up before you can get your next free pass.

So if we're smart we can use 7 free passes for the event right?

No 6 is the max for free passes.

If you collect a pass the day before but not use it you will start the day with one.

During the event instead of collecting 1 free pass you can collect up to 5.

Here's my experience from Articuno day (same idea, some time ago).

I saved Friday's pass, not using it. Saturday, I started doing Articuno raids. I did seven on the free passes (Friday's, Saturday's, Raid day #1, ... Raid Day #5) On the eighth raid, I had to buy a premium pass (I had none of them going in). I checked afterwards, because those were my first Articunos outside of the Field Research Breakthroughs. Of course, you can't have more than one free pass at a time. I just walked to the next gym, and when tapping on it to get to the raid lobby, got the next pass automatically, until on raid 8 I didn't.

Now, they might tweak how it works, but AFAIK, you will get all the free passes you can get if you do it that way. Using yesterday's worked just fine for me, using it during the event.
