I dont know why theres no guide for it, its not like its a new raid boss, its been out before.

Maybe its because its such a glass cannon it takes so much damage a guides unnecessary? Its got weaknesses to most top tier attackers like machamp, and the powerful FP Venasaur.

That's very much it. Sharpedo is seriously not much of a challenge at all. It's pretty squishy & gets easily killed one of the famous & super common Blissey/Snorlax/Chansey counter: Machamp.

Just stack up 6 Machamps & beat him out.

at lvl 20 (!) the 24th best counter beats it with 1/3 of the clock left.

Several tier 2 raids like cloyster are more difficult.

I’m pretty sure Sharpedo as a Tier 4 could be soloed, you could use Poliwrath, Ampharos, etc to solo him. He’s as easy as cheese. The only issue is he can deal a lot of damage but just make sure you dodge if you’re using glassy pokes.

haha! had to check it out.

Even a tier 5 sharpedo can be soloed when attacker is weather boosted.

Level 10 machamps can solo sharpedo with re-entry.

It's going to be fun to see what electavire does to it, it out DPS's machamp reliably by 1.5 at minimum, up for round 2 depending on fast move with more TDO

Actually, they are practically the same. #1 is Electivire and #2 Machamp vs W/HP.

Edit: Machamp can make up the atk difference because Counter is a better move than TS. Counter is a high DPS low EPS move, and TS the opposite. Their relationship is similar to Shadow Claw and Hex.

We finally got the guide, filled with sarcasm.

The reason why I asked for the guide is that:
a) even high-level players with suitable counters may not realise how easy Sharpedo is
b) lower-level players may not know what counters to use or may have limited counters

P.S. Sharpedo does have a higher attack than Machamp.
