How many passes will you spend on Gengar day?

I'd spend some money on raid passes if my free ones run out, Lick Gengar is such a good Mon.

I'll buy 30, for each account and see how it goes.

Looking to get a couple good IV ones and maybe a shiny.

It looks like evolved Pokemon will get it too, which is great for me as I can't do the raids that day but can quickly evolve some haunter to Gengar to get Lick. Way more interested in that than a shiny.

If the Gengars are soloable, I may actually spend real money on coins for the first time in a year. SGPokeMap is back up, which together with Adventure Sync, will be huge motivation to walk (and get a thousand badge XP for some gyms).

I can't play on raid days. I will try to evolve, which will probably work, and if not I will trade for a couple.

I feel stupid for evolving my 100% gastly now, Hex will be completely outclassed by two moves now :(

Only the free ones. As mentioned haunters evolved during the event gets the move lick.

Imo the best thing to do is to hoard high CP gastlys and trade them. Trying to get lucky ones with good IVs.

So far i have got only one lucky with good IVs. Should have 3-4 when the event starts since gastlys with weather boost are common.

I mean: lvl 35 is 150k dust.

10 gengars are 1,5m dust. Pass.

The free passes are enough, I have a 100% and 2x 98% Gastly ready to be evolved so I'm good for the lick Gengar. Hopefully I'll get a shiny (had 3 shinies in my first 3 encounters on Moltres day and found 2 more later) and if not it's no biggie either.

Zero.... If the “you can evolve a Gengar during the event and get the exclusive moves” rumors end up being true....

I'm just going until I either hit a shiny or blow through my supply of premiums, whichever comes first. If after that I still don't have a shiny then I guess it wasn't meant to be. I'm not spending any money this time.

I tend to save my premium passes for legendaries, for candy availability reasons. Six free passes in 2 hours is usually enough for me. I get tired of so much raiding.

I will only use that free passes that niantic give at gengar days, so 5 or probably 6
I will evovle one of my gastly, see if it get lick. If it does i just evolve my 14 gastly and haunter all with good IV.
Already have 3 SC Gengars, so i will get the lick variation and done with Gengars..

If that's true, I wish it wouldn't have psychic. shadow ball is a way better move, and I'd rather not burn through my charge TMs to get it.
