How will Niantic impliment Smeargle?

Smeargle in the games learns only one move, sketch. Sketch can permanently copy an opposing pokemoms move. Making Smeargle useful for breeding purposes. But what will Niantic do?

-Forget sketch. Give Smeargle Zen headbutt and Struggle and leave it as another boring dex entry.
-Allow Smeargle to learn any random move in the game.
-Give Smeargle sketch, make sketch have the same effect as Yawn (non damage causing move that charges the charge move) give it struggle as its charge move.

Or will Niantic impliment radical new coding. Make Sketch work as it does in the games, implement breeding, allowing you to create pokemon with moves they wouldn't normally learn.

The way Niantic are releasing Shedninja (ignoring its unique trait from the games and reducing it to another boring dex entry) suggests a zen headbutt Smeargle is more likely. But i can dream, can't I?

I could see them implementing Sketch, but having it function a bit differently than it did in the main series. Once you enter a battle, maybe it becomes a copy of whatever charge move the Mon you're facing has, for the duration of that battle. Or maybe permanently.

It's also possible that they don't implement Sketch, or make it a basic move that doesn't do anything special. They did exactly that with Delibird's move, Present. In the main series, the move has a 50% chance to deal damage and a 50% chance to heal Delibird. Sadly, in Go, it's just a mediocre quick move that does nothing special.

Present isn't a 50/50 split on damage/heal. It's a 80/20 damage/heal with the damage part split into 3 deciding the power of the move. The heal is not for Delibird, but for the target.

Oh, interesting. I stand corrected then!

I expect that Smeargle will be a boring dex entry, with nothing interesting about it, unfortunately. It would be nice to have sketch copy the oponent's move
