EX Raid Pass
Since I noticed that some days ago they made immediately visible which gyms are EX Raid eligible, and I have one very near my office, I wanted to understand exactly how you can obtain an ex raid pass...
It's only about raiding in that gym? Or also battling, defending and feeding have an influence?
PS:... yes I never did an ex raid... Just got an invite once from a friend from Greece, but unfortunately I live in Switzerland...

You can get an ex raid pass from doing any tier level. I have got one from doing a Magikarp by myself. Another time from doing a tier 5 with over 10 people. I only have bronze maybe silver in this gym. Like the individuals mentioned above it depends on how much others raid at this particular gym in a given week. They do not hand them out every week too so you just have to keep doing at least one raid at that gym each week to ensure you do not miss your chance. With the gym being ex raid eligible enough people should trigger it unless if it is located in a unpopular place(ie no stops around/limited parking/very congested). I would also make sure to raid the week leading up to a community day event as well (or day of) since more people will be around. At my ex raid gym it is almost always handing out passes a few days after an event because of the popularity it has during those weekends.
