Increased Starters!

Are you starting to see them around? What's the spawn rate like in your area? Are their evolved forms more common too?

Unfortunately I'm sick and cannot go out atm, so I'd like to know if I should really hurry up at getting better lol - also considering I still miss Charmeleon and Charizard.

[EDIT: I have received the notification about the increased starter spawns a few hours ago, so it should be officially active by now.]

I'm about to go out now, nothing in the way of starters on my nearby, but there's a Growlithe so I'll take that :)

The only Pokémon I need are the 8 Pokémon from gen 2 and the non-europe exclusives, so i need to go out and hatch eggs, a lot :l

But you can't get region exclusives from eggs other than the one that's from your own region, unless the eggs are picked up in those respective regions.

Think he meant the gen 2 mons

and that if I wanted Tauros/Farfetch'd/Kanghaskhan that I'd need to go catch a plane

It says afternoon PST. Considering it's not even noon CET, I'd say we have some time before that part of the event starts...

They are indeed... They really should give an accurate time for events...

I have received the in game news that starters spawn have increased and it is still not implemented, nice one hahha xD

They did the same with the first event. The massage of increased Gen 2 eggs came hours before the event actually started.

Morning was/is in 5-6 hours (PST), so afternoon should be in 12 hours minimun

I got the ingame message for the festive activities and immediately went out in Downtown Berlin, Germany. There's nothing out there yet, except maybe for more festive Pikachu (5 in 30 minutes)

How do you receive ingame-messages?

I think it will turn on when the new present-boxes appering in the shop.

Go to settings inside the game and turn on all notifications and news. I have received it also and nothing still...Another great job by Niantic, pushing the notification without the event started, I thought that after making a lot of people losing one incubator on the first part of the event they would have learned something, I always overstimate this company lol
