Eggs...... what happens when already have nine?

I think that in the past when I already had 9 eggs, Pokestops seemed to know not to give me eggs. But today, with 9 eggs already, I had 2 Pokestops give 2k eggs. Even though they just 'disappeared' because I was full on eggs, they did show show as given in my journal.

Is this a change in how Pokestops work, or did I just never notice?

This happens to me I have eggs just about to hatch (spin the pokestop right before the egg hatching animation kicks in).

Other than that, I have never gotten more than 9 eggs at one time.

No, none were close to hatching. Had nine in incubators; only one being 2k, and still that way now since I haven't hatched any today. And the journal showed two Pokestops giving 2k eggs, presumably that went away cuz I was full with 9 already.

Really, a 'thumbs down'? For explaining something I could clearly see in my Journal and Egg inventory.......

If you think I'm misinterpreting something and want to correct me or explain, great. That'd be useful. But 'thumbs down' is rather annoying.

Probably someone saying that they didn't like what you had to say, accurate or not. Your name is besmirched now - you're doomed. You got a thumbs down on the pokemon go Q&A - now you'll never get a job (not to mention a date). Your life is ruined.

I've never noticed extra eggs given when I'm full (I don't check my journal very often to see if aborted drops are recorded).
