Weather boosted pokemon

Pokemon like Chinchou in Rainy weather or Numel in Clear weather should be doubly boosted, say capping at level 40 for wild encounter. Just to have more fun. How do you think about that?

I think it's a good idea to have an extra bonus for doubly boosted pokemon, but I feel like your suggestion wouldn't be the best. It could get too overpowered. Maybe though they could eliminate IVS 0-8 instead of 0-4. That is still kinda overpowered but would be cool.

I had a similar thought, but level 30 windy Rayquaza might be impossible to catch

Does weather boost actually make a difference for raid catches? I had assumed raid catch rates were fixed regardless of weather.

Catch rate depends on the level of the pokemon so yes raid catches are harder when weatherboosted. With some you can actually observe the circle being different color, which is how it was confimed in the first place.

Interesting. Makes that one ball Pinap catch last week even more impressive.

GamePress needs to update the raid catch calculator then, it just assumes un-boosted as is. Silver Pinap also should be included, currently there's only toggles for regular razz and golden.
